Austria’s successful symphonic metal band VISIONS OF ATLANTIS have decided, in cooperation with their label Napalm Records, to release an orchestral version of their much acclaimed latest album “Pirates“. This will be their second album in 2023 and their third “Pirates“ album, as they already released the live album “Pirates Over Wacken“ (the third live album in their career) in March 2023. Here’s the story on the orchestral album as stated on VISIONS OF ATLANTIS‘ Facebook page:
“We are delighted to announce that we will release the orchestral version of our latest album “Pirates”, called “A Pirate’s Symphony” on December 1rst, 2023.
This wonderful version highlights all the details and nuances of the amazing orchestral work by Lukas Knoebel. It also gives all the room for the listener to appreciate Ben Metzner’s flutes and bagpipes on “Master The Hurricane”, “In My World” and “Heal The Scars”.
We love this version for how it transports us to another universe, where imagination unfolds.
