Prepare to be swept away by the enchanting sounds of YLISIA, a rising star in the symphonic metal scene. This Dutch female fronted band has signed a deal with Wormholedeath for the re-release of their debut album “Underneath”, set to be released on December 6th, 2024.
“Ylisia‘s music is a clever blend of powerful vocals, catchy melodies, and driving rhythms, drawing inspiration from legendary acts like The Gathering, Evanescence, Within Temptation, and Kate Bush. Since their formation in 2021, the band has captivated audiences with their dynamic live shows, performing at renowned festivals like FemME, Bevrijdingfestival Wageningen, and Nieuwveen Live”, Wormholedeath stated today on their Facebook page.
YLISIA adds: “We are very pleased and grateful for the opportunity to sign with WormHoleDeath. After careful consideration, we were excited to join forces with them to bring our music to a larger audience. We believe WormHoleDeath will provide the tools and network that will boost our visibility worldwide. We’re looking forward to this new chapter in our journey!”
“Underneath” is more than just a symphonic metal album — it’s a deeply personal expression of emotion. Built around the compositions of keyboardist George van Olffen, the record captures two decades of musical ideas, coming to life with the current lineup formed in 2021. “Free” was written by vocalist Liesbeth Cordia after the tragic loss of her brother, bringing raw emotion to the forefront of the album.
