German death metallers DISCREATION welcome Skadi (Realm Of Chaos, Mellom) as their new vocalist. Together with her, the band have already recorded a video clip for the song “Blood Ritual” from the current album “Iron Times” (2023, Massacre Records), which will be released soon.
Guitarist Sebastian Schilling comments: “Skadi is not only an excellent and versatile singer, but also brings the right spirit, which everyone will soon be able to hear for themselves when “Blood Ritual” is released. We are looking forward to opening a new chapter with her”.
Skadi comments: “As a longtime fan of the band, it’s a great honor and a surreal feeling to be a part of it myself. I’ve had great predecessors and I embrace the challenge of maintaining the essence of the music and giving it my own voice. I can’t wait to perform live with DISCREATION and set new milestones together!”
The first show in the new line-up will take place on May 10th in Kassel, Germany, at the Goldgrube.
DISCREATION also say goodbye to their longtime guitarist Dave Hübsch, who has been a member of the band since 2009. “We greatly appreciate his contribution to the band and thank him for the time we spent together. We also wish Dave all the best for the future.”
